Sorry for the late response. I've had some relatives visit, and I havent been able to get to a computer! So lately I've been trying to find some cool music to show you guys and I haven't really found anything. So while I was on Itunes looking up some sogs I came upon this band called Theory Of a Deadman. So I started listening to some of their music. And I have come to like them! They sound alot like Nickelback (yay). So if your a fan of Nickelback I suggest you look up Theory of a Deadman!

HUH?

Is what you are probably asking yourself right now. What is Elf Yourself? Well, Elf Yourself is a site that can cure any boredom of being stuck home for the holidays or to spread silly holiday cheer among friends or family. After spending long and boring days in my house, for there are no vacation plan showing up anytime soon, my brother calls me up the stairs to show me "the coolest site" he has ever seen. It was Elf Yourself (of course).

Elf Yourself is a site were you upload a picture of your face onto a body of an Elf, you can adjust your face so it fits nicely. You can create elves of your family and friends, I did one of my cat Jack :). Once it finish's loading your elf you can chose four dances: Disco, Classic, Country, and Charleston. When you select a dance you can watch your elf dance, and do hilarious moves. You can send it to friends or family afterwards to spread this hilarious message of holiday cheer while your stuck at home or in your hotel room.

Lacking...

Lately I have been lacking the inspiration to write a really good post. I have found my self more being over come by school, like tests, homework, projects and trying to keep up my math grade. Not only school but also trying to keep up with after school sports. I run Cross Country and yesterday we did are first run across the busy Doha streets all the way to the Villagio Mall. I don't get home till around five them it's opening the books, but by then my mind is nothing but a pile of mush, incapable of doing anything mental related. Not only school and after school sports I'm trying to keep up with my social life as well. Trying to find the balance is hard and I'm still trying to find that balance. It's going to be awhile till I can grasp a couple of minutes of peace, and clear my busy schedule.

Now that’s enough of my over-busy, over-dramatic, over-tiring life.

It's now time for a Nickelback update!

Nickelback a great band, formed in the deep depths of Canada. After their hit album All The Wrong Reasons, they have come out with another. Dark Horse. After my daily check on the Nickelback fan site I found out that there new album is coming out and I am egger to get my hands on it. I know that their last album was a huge hit, so I'm egger to see what happens with this album. The Blair Witch Project

As some of my readers may know I love fiction I love anything that can send a chill down my spine, and leave me full of wondering. The new movie The Blair Witch Project did exactly that.
As always before I watch a movie I like to do a little research (don't ask it's just something I do). Thinking it was just another made up story. What I found shocked me.
The Blair Witch Project wasn't just a movie made for fun it was actually made by three collage students that disappeared. I wanted to find out more. For those who don't know of the Blair Witch I will tell you.
It supposedly started with a woman named Elly Kedward in 1785 accused of witchcraft. Several children accused her of taking them into her house to draw blood. Kedward was banished from the village and the village assumed that the cold harsh winter took her life. Only a year later Kedwards accusers and many children vanished. The townspeople fearing a curse fled Blair and vowed that they would never say Elly Kedwards name again.
About three centuries later a book was written called The Blair Witch Cult. The book tells about town cursed by a witch. This book though was declared fiction.
Eleven years after the publishing of the book eleven witnesses say to see a pale woman’s hand reach up and pull ten-year-old Elieen Treacle into Tappy East Creek. The body was never recovered but about thirteen days later sticks clogged the river.
Almost fifty years later eight-year-old Robin Weaver was reported missing and a search party was formed. Weaver returned though but the search party did not. There bodies were found murdered and disembowel at Coffin Rock.
Burkittsville, which was located where Blair was, had Emily Hollands, and a total of seven children disappear near their town.
These are just a few of the stories of the Blair Witch. I will have a link for more reading later on.

Now reading just those few passages I was fired up. How interesting, I had to find out more. So I clicked on the link "Filmmakers". That’s when things got interesting.
October 20, 1994 three collage filmmakers Heather Donahue, Joshua Leonard, and Michael Williams decided to make a documentary about the Blair Witch. So they start there documentary by interviewing some Burkittsville locals. Mary Brown, an old and insane woman who has lived in Burkittsville all her life says of seeing the witch. She said it was in the form of a hairy, half-human, half-animal beast.
On October 21, 1994 Heather interviews two fishermen who tells her that Coffin Rock on twenty minutes away from town easily accusable near an old logging trail. So the filmmakers hike into Black Hills Forest and where never to be seen again.
Four days later APB find Josh’s car parked on Black Rock Road. A day later police launch a search of the Black Hills area. The search lasted ten days, aided by hundred men, helicopters, dogs, and even Department of Defense Satellite.
After much search and no success the case on June 19, 1995 was declared inactive and unsolved.
Then in October 16, 1995 students from the University of Maryland’s Anthropology discover a duffel bag. The bag contained film cans, DAT tapes, videocassettes, a Hi-8 video camera, Heather's journal and a CP-16 film camera. Even more the bag was found buried under a 100-year-old cabin. When the evidence was examined it was annocounced that the film and the other things found in the bag did indeed belong to the three filmmakers.
October 16, 1997 the footage of the children’s last days were given to their families.

After reading that now I had chills down my spine and my imagination was going. But there was more. Besides the video evidence there was also Heather Donahue’s journal. I had to know what it said. That also made goosbumps trailed my arms.
As I looked at the ragged paperback journal on the website, I saw the crude words that said “Heather” scratched up at the top. The inside was even more chilling, she wrote about children’s voices, and she constantly wrote about how she desperately wanted to catch the thing that was following her on film. In her words she sounded desperate and almost insane, like she was losing it. If you wish to read it click here.
Though I haven't watched the movie yet, just by reading a little about it makes we itch to pop it in the DVD player and watch it. But I have promised myself to watch on Halloween, I can't wait to see this mind-chilling story.

One Shelter a 100 animals

As some of my readers may already know, I am a major tree hugger. I care for the environment, recycle and have a major soft spot for animals. So I am part of a Roots & Shoots program, Roots & Shoots is kind of like Global Issues but Roots & Shoots focus more on helping with the community. Well were asked to tackle a problem that we know of, I picked Animal Shelter. Some others also wanted to join, and so we started crackin'. As some may know, the Gulf has a major cat problem, and there are cats breeding by the thousands. There are also stray dogs, chickens, donkeys, and yes, even bulls. When pet owners don't want or don't know what to do with their pets they usually abandoned them. Tying them to a post and leaving them to die. Well, one shelter couldn't stand to let this happen. So up came Qatar Animal Welfare Society. I got the special privilege and my other group members to go and visit the shelter.

Far down, were there are no cars and towering buildings lays a quite farm with a good cause. They house a lot of the abandoned animals in Qatar. They have dogs, cats, chickens, roosters, donkeys, bulls and some other animals that I sadly didn't catch in my recordings. I must say the cages were nice, no concrete flooring, but nice cool tiles for the dogs to lie and sleep. The dogs, I think, were quite happy to have new visitors. They barked, and yelped in joy as each of us passed their cages. Their long snouts almost seemed to be pulled up in a grin. The cats were not as esthetic to meet us though. They lay in their cages coolly, flashing velvet paws and shinning coats. Some were even a little camera shy. A small, black and white kitten, no bigger than a child’s hand, cuddled it's self up to it's brothers or sisters (I couldn't tell) and they fell into a gentle sleep. The donkeys, unlike the cats, were eager to be on film and flashed wide grins at the camera. The bull, much like the cats, turned his back. This only made me laugh.

With all these people are doing for these animals only motivated me to help, even more when I was told that they are running out of space to hold animals and are in dying need of the space. So we wrote down what we needed to do a get to help this great shelter. I am glad to say, that they animals were healthy, putting on weight, and the people were nice to. Starting September 20th National Punch Day is being celebrated. Didn't now there was such a day? We'll there is! Also happy National Cheeseburger Day (18th) and happy Elephant Appreciation Day(22nd)! Now I have listed some fun ideas on how you can celebrate these wacky holidays!

National Punch Day

A very popular drink at parties and sure to make your party a big hit!

Invite some of your friends over and celebrate the day with big bowls of punch, and maybe ask them to bring over some of their own punch.
You can make all different flavors of punch, like Fruit Punch and Slush Punch, a good Party Punch, a Floating Island Punch, Banana Slush Punch, and a Lemonade Punch. There are may but these are only a few.
With all your friends over just have a party, drink some punch, dance, have fun whatever.

You can even have a game were you blindfold one person and you give them a taste of punch and they have to guess what type of punch it is.

National Cheeseburger Day

One of Americas favorite food, no wonder it as its own holiday. Well here are some suggestions to help you kick of this tasty holiday.

Invite some friends over a B-B-Q!
If you want, send out some Hamburger shaped invitations to some friends telling about the holiday and when you want them to come over.
Serve sodas, chips, dip, maybe some veggies and dip and of course lots and lots of Hamburgers!

Elephant Appreciation Day

This is a great day to appreciate one of Earths many creatures. Here are some good tips of for to celebrate this holiday.

Create a flyer with some interesting Elephant facts and pass them out to family or friends.
Get some friends together and give each a piece of paper and a pen, ask them to place the paper on their heads and try to draw an elephant. The one that looks the closest to a Elephant wins!

Le Espérer

Okay, I am like having a hard time with making up a name for my blog. But I really like the one I that I have come up with, Le Espérer. Le Espérer is French for The Hope. Why would I pick Hope? I will tell you why.

I beilive there is still Hope in the world, even with the wars, the loss, disease I still beilive there is Hope. And I still think that everyone relies on Hope it is the one thing that keeps us going. The people who survived Katrina were hoping to be saved from thier death and they clang onto that Hope till they were saved. There is always hope. Like the great Greek Legend of Pandora. It was she that opened the jar that she was told not to open, but as she did she released all evil on earth, plague, war and hatred, but with all the evil that spewed from the jar there was still one thing left, Hope. Hope lay at the bottem of the Jar it being the only thing that conquer all of the evil. It was that one thing, that one thing that coud probably help Mankind. That story, I think, ties in with today with the war and disease Hope is the only thing that can defeat it. And that is why I picked Hope or Le Espérer.

Graceful. Beautiful. Colorful. These are the words that best describe the male Betta, also known as the Siamese fighting fish. Now you may be wondering why I am only referring to just the male Betta’s, well personally the males are the beautiful ones. The males of long flowing fins like the robe of an important king, they are also very, very territorial. Male Bettas come in a wide variety of the shapes, sizes and colors. Now the females well, they are plain, small and are highly out matched when it comes to the beauty and grace of the male Betta.
I myself have always wanted to have a male Betta for myself, because there beauty just astounds me. I could watch one for hours and hours. So I have written a little about Bettas (including the females) and I have provide many links, helpful sites on Bettas and sites the give you information on how to care for a Betta. Enjoy.

Mainly about Bettas:
Bettas are tropical fish found in warm and hot waters in Southeast Asia. You can find them in the wild in slow moving waters like swamps. They also love to hide in rocks behind seaweed and other places that help hide them away. Bettas are great fish, and are very interesting to have around the house. I will go into the Betta in a little more detail.

Bettas are Anabantids this means that they have a labyrinth organ in their heads that allow them to take air from our atmosphere and also from the water. So it is very important that you’re Betta has a gape in its bowl that allows going it to go to the top and breathe or else they will drown.

Bettas are also carnivorous they also surface feed. Wild Bettas feed on Zooplankton, larvae of mosquitoes, crickets, and flies and many other insects. Bettas that have a high diet in protein tend to live longer, have brighter colors, and heal more quickly. Your Betta can also eat bloodworms, brine shrimp and daphnia; these can be alive or frozen.

Female Bettas can lay 100-500 eggs. Females are also known for eating their own young. After the female has laid her eggs the male will create a bubble nest at the surface of the water this is to protect the eggs. The eggs will hatch two days after birth.

Bettas come in a large variety of colors, like red, blue, orange, yellow, white, green, and turquoise. Breeders have also managed to get some colors into the females but unable to get the long flowing fins of the male Betta. Besides the large variety of colors there are also many tail shapes.

• Veiltail (non-symmetrical tail, only two rays)
• Crowntail (highly frilled, extended spiny rays)
• Combtail (less extended version of the crown tail)
• Half-moon (large tail fin that forms a 180-degree, or larger, half circle)
• Short-finned fighting style (sometimes called "plakat")
• Double-tail (the tail fin is split into two lobes and the dorsal fin is significantly elongated)
• Delta tail (tail span is less than half-moon with sharp edges)
• Fantail (a rounded delta tail)

When male and female Bettas are intimated or to attract a mate, Bettas flare their gill covers. Horizontal bars will show on the fish when the Betta is stressed or frightened. When threatened or even without a threat a Betta needs a place to retreat. A Betta will become territorial of that place he chooses, either it be a rock or a swaying plant. He will make that his place of retreat. Bettas are even aggressive to their own reflections. They bang against the glass of their bowl, and a mirror if they “see” another Betta. Males are typically more aggressive than Females, but some females some pretty high levels of aggression.

Typically you shouldn’t keep two male Bettas in the same tank, for they will fight each other to the death. In the wild male Bettas don’t fight to the death, because the loser will retreat but in a tank there is no retreat. So they will keep fighting till the death, no matter what.

If you have a male and a female together you should be wary, for female usually steer clear of males since males usually kill females. You should only have a male and a female together if the tank is large enough for a female to retreat when under attack, and also if the fish are breeding and if they are juvenile siblings. You should also be wary of having two or more females in a tank for usually one female will bully another. But you should always scan the tank for any aggressive females.

Now all this doesn’t mean you Bettas has to be alone in his/her tank. I have found some good tank mates for your Betta, so you won’t always have a lonely Betta. These fish are:
• Platies
• Corydoras
• Catfish
• Loaches
Females can share a tank with:
• Danios
• Tetras
• Barbs
• Gouramis
• Shrimp

Now every Betta is different so you need to find just the right tank for your fish, some Bettas are more aggressive than others, but some are more skittish and are better be housed alone. It all depends on your Bettas personality.

Now some people might think that you must house your Betta in a small tank in order for the fish to be happy. WRONG! Bettas, like any other fish, are happier when kept in a large roomy tank. They are healthier, more active, and grow larger. You should at least have one gallon (3.75L) of water for each cubic inch (16.5cm), this though is a estimate some fish might acquire more space. Now as you finish reading this post you may be thinking of getting a Betta (or not) but you should now that it is a living creature and should be treated as such. Given its every need for a long and healthy life, it is you’re responsibly as a fish owner to provide full and proper living conditions for your fish. That sinking feeling...

Have you ever had that sinking feeling that you forgot something? Well these two parents did. As I read from Yahoo! News, a Israeli couple going on a European vacation to Paris where wandering around duty free with there five children, then they made a mad dash to there charter flight. They had remembered there eighteen suitcases and duty-free shopping bags but had forgotten their three-year-old daughter. Yes, they had forgotten their three-year-old daughter.

When a policeman had found the girl wondering around duty free confused, he called and alerted airline staff but they had said that the plane had already taken off. The family was told after forty minutes into the flight that their child was left at the airport. The parents said that they where unaware that they had accidently left their child at the airport.

At the next flight to Paris, airline staffer accompanied the child through the flight and the child was reunited safely with her parents. The parents are later to be questioned by Police for parental negligence.

As you may have seen I have changed the name and site adress of my blog. Why!? Well I'm just about to tell you why. I was searching blogs (as bored as I was) and I searched up my blog and I then found out there where tons of blogs called My World. So I thought, "No one will never find my blog!" So after much hard thinking and long greiving hours (well, not really) the name poped into my head, it was unique, different and had a nice ring to it. So it was dediced, Flowers Without Petals. Hope you like it!

A Home That Isn't Home

It was the plane ride home, but the word “home” felt raw on my tongue. It wasn’t my home it was a place. A place where I was suppose to enjoy my life, but it was like being held captive. Being held captive in foreign land where I felt trapped. Outside the gated walls of my compound I pleaded for release, to send me back where I belonged, the United States.
This aching throb started when my family was moved to the Qatar and I have been pleading to see family for a long time. Then my family had finally gone on a thirty-day trip to America where I was to meet up with all of my family. To meet up with wandering Aunts who where still trying to grab hold of their lives, Grandparents full of heartthrob from their grownup sons and daughters and growing up grandchildren. To also meet up with those who had passed away, one of those was my Grandfather.
But those thirty days went by to fast for me, and it wasn’t long before the soil of America left beneath my feet as I headed across a fast ocean. And it wasn’t before long when reality struck me in the face; I wasn’t going to be home in two or more years. I wasn’t going to feel grass, or the shade of trees for years to come. I couldn’t help but feel tears of sorrow swell in my eyes as we hit ground. Ever since my family was sent to Qatar I had pleaded for a place to call home, and didn’t know where to call home. But I do now, and I will be returning in two years, and I am counting every second.

Wall-E

As I had clearly promised I am doing a post on the brand new movie Wall-E.
Wall-E (Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class) is all about a robot that has spent hundreds of lonely years picking up after the mess humans have left since they abounded earth. Then one day he falls upon a sleek search robot, EVE, which is in search of plant life on Earth. EVE soon finds that Wall-E has found the key to the planets future. The movie is beautifully directed, and though the movie is majestic and full of imagination there is always a laugh waiting around every corner. With Wall-E's large rounded eyes, small rustic body, and large clumsy hands, and a mind of curiosity it is hard not to like Wall-E.

Wow! It has been quite a long time since I have last posted. I am writing on my Grandparents computer, my only current access to Internet. If you are also wondering, my vacation is not over. Yet. I still have another glorious three days before I am sent all the way back to Doha. I am sorry to say that I am too lazy to upload any pictures to my computer to post them onto the blog, so once again sorry. But when I return to my home, I will be posting normally again and when I have the time I will post one looooong post of pictures from my vacation. So keep checking back.
I am just about to go to the movies with my little sister and brother and grandparents to see Wall-E. So when I return I will write a post about the movie.

Shooting Cans

Now you may be wondering what I mean by "Shooting Cans". Well it goes like this.

My friend had just dropped me off at my house from her sleepover. I entered my house my legs tired and heavy. I plopped my stuff on the bench and I paced the sliding doors to the backyard. But as I was passing I heard a snapping of aluminom cans. Stopping a leaned closer to the doors. There it was again, that snapping of cans. Curious, I walked through the doors to see my brother shooting soda cans with a slingshot. "Matt, what are you doing?"

Matt looked me and said, "I'm shooting cans."

I looked at him, and then looked at the cans that were lined on a plastic chair. I took the slingshot from him then I took a penny from a little plastic cup by my feet. I then aimed and shot. The coin zipped through the air and a moment later there was a loud crack. I examined the can that I hit, the coin had punctured the can I smiled.

"Nice shot." My brother said and I smiled

Now you may be thinking where I am going with this. Well I'm not going really anywhere with this. Really this post is just something that you could do when your bored. So if you have some extra soda cans take them outside aline them take your bros slingshot (or make one click here to learn how) take coins, marbles or little rocks to shot the cans with. And see how many cans you can shoot down. But make sure no one is in the way or behind the cans.

Mans Best Friend

Mans best friend. Dogs. They have been with use for centuries. They have been friends, loyal, and great hunting companions, they have even protected are land and houses. Dogs are a domesticated species of the wolf. In the world today there is an estimation of 400 million dogs (that is a lot of dogs). But if I want to tell you about dogs, I am going to have to start at the very beginning. The origin.
From DNA based samples date modern dog ancestors back 100,000 years. Evidence suggests that dogs were first domesticated in East Asia, possibly China. And the people that entered North America took the dogs from Asia with them. And as people began to spread across the planet and variety of dogs also spread. And during the change in time, like the agriculture revolution and urban revolution demanded specialization in breeds. And these circumstances led to the opportunity to selective breeding. This way it could create specialized working dogs and better pets for the different types of family.
But when were dogs domesticated? Well archaeological and genetic evidence say that the time of the domestication for dogs was in the late Upper Paleolithic close to the Pleistocene/Holocene boundary, between 17,000 and 14,000 years ago. Domesticated dogs may have interbred with local populations of wild wolves, but this is uncertain.
Now with the wide range of the dog breeds they have devopled some way over time. With the beginnings of agriculture around 12,000 years ago, humans began making use of dogs in various ways, this resulting in physical differences between dogs and their wolf ancestors. Also dog breeds have changed due to envoriment in where the dog lives (example your house). Like the Old English Sheep Dog devloped to hearding sheep, will the Blood Hound delvopled a sense of smell for tracking. Besides the basic breeds, like German Shepreds, people have been cross breeding dogs when they take two different dog species and breed them, these are called hybrid dogs. Have you ever heard of a Afador? This dog is a mix between Afghan Hound and Labrador Retriever. Or have you ever heard of a Plica? That dog was a mix between a Basset Hound and a Ori Pei Hybrid. These are some examples of hybrid dogs.
But with every dog breed there is dog breed popularity. For example in United States in 2005 the most-registered breed in New York City was the Poodle while the Yorkshire Terrier was the second-most-registered breed in Houston, Texas. So popularity varies in the different states. But in shelters acroos the U.S report that the American Pit Bull Terrier is the most avaiable dog for adoption. In the United Kingdom from 1999 to 2005 the Labrador Retriever was the most registered dog.
So as we now dogs have been with us for a very very long time. They have been loyal compainions and we all have our different taste in dogs. Some of us perfer small dogs, while some of us prefer to large. Some pefer long haired dogs, or short haired dogs. They are definitly mans and womens best friends.

The Loch Ness Monster, Fiction or Not

A large sea lizard, with four fins and a long neck, this is a common of the mysterious creature that has been haunting the minds of millions. It has been a mystery and that has struck so many people imaginations that people have formed online groups, websites, and search groups in search of the Loch Ness Monster. Many people have claimed sightings of the Monster, some cases of the monster over turning fishing bouts, skimming the surface of the water, or just an outline of them in murky waters. But if you think about, maybe these people weren’t just seeing things; maybe they really did see the Loch Ness Monster. Maybe there is a monster that lives inside the lakes water. Maybe is not just fiction, maybe it’s non fiction.
Now you may be thinking that I am crazy, but think about it. Maybe the Loch Ness Monster isn’t just an old tale, maybe the monster it’s self is real. Us humans aren’t even close to see what Nature it’s self is capable of creating. Maybe, just maybe there is an abnormally large creature that has found it’s in the lake and has lived there for centuries and people have been sighting it. There have been water sightings and there have even been land sightings. There are even sightings dating back to the 1800’s. Below are some recorded water sightings:

Observer: D Mackenzie Time: 1200 Date: October 1871 Motion: Slow, then moved off at speed Description: Log like, then up-turned boat

Observer: John Macleod Time: Unknown Date: 1908 Motion: Motionless, then moved off Description: Long tapering tail, eel-like head. 30-40ft, creature lying in the water, flush with surface

Observer: Ian J. Milne Time: 0730 Date: July 14th 1930 Motion: Splash, moved in an arc at 16-17mph, submerged Description: 2 or 3 shallow humps undulating along back.

Observer: Miss P Keyes, R.A.R. Meiklem and Mrs Meiklem Time: 1500 Date: August 5th 1933
Motion: Moved back and forth, submerged Description: 1 hump, (4-6ft) seen end on with ridge (size of cart horse)

Besides people sighting the Loch Ness Monster in the lakes waters people have been claiming that they have seen the Monster on land. Here some of the sightings:

Observer: A group of children near graveyard Date: 1879 Place: North shore Description: Observed strange creature coming down hillside to loch. Color as an elephant, small head turning side to side on long neck. 'Waddled into water.'

Observer: E.H. Bright and cousin Date: 1880 Place:Drumnadrochit Description: Observed 'monster' emerge from wooded area and 'waddle' into water on four legs. Left wash after entering water. Long neck, dark grey.

Observer: Alfred Cruickshank Date: April 1923 at night Place: Unknown Description: Body 10-12ft long, tail 10-12ft long. Maximum diameter of body, 5-7ft, Arched back. Khaki green color, lighter underbelly. Four legs, thick like an elephants, with large webbed feet.

Observer: Mrs Reid Date: December 1933 Place: Inverfarigaig Description: Strange animal resting on slope of Loch shore. Partially obscurred by bracken. Hairy mane on neck, rest of body seemed hairy. Shaped like a hippopotamus, large round head, short thick legs, dark coloration.

Besides recorded sightings there have also been photos of this mystery.

But there is one photo that started it all; it is the most famous of photos of the Loch Ness Monster. This photo is called the “surgeon's photo”.

But as you may know this photo had been classified as a fake when Christian Spurling who had helped build the model monster that was photographed. He admitted that the picture was a hoax. But was it? Think about it for a minute. You have supposedly of the evidence of the monster and you have chance of fame and fortune. But you want to keep your discovery secret. Maybe Christian Spurling wanted to keep this discovery and not tell the world the truth. To cover up the discovery maybe he told that the picture was only a hoax to get the news reporters of his back. Just maybe he wanted to save the lake (or loch), maybe he didn’t want tourist or news reporters coming and destroying his peaceful lake. Just maybe.

The Wolf Howls

Have you ever heard a wolf. Have you ever heard it cry it's night song to the full moon? It's deep howl that shakes the earth and rustles the leaves. No? Well awhile back I did hear that one cry of the wolf and awhile back I wrote about it. I hope you enjoy it.

The Wolf Howls

The Sun has past

A full Moon takes it's place

The Tress dance in the wind

The little Rabbit scurys across the forest floor

As the Wolf takes his stand

He howls across the night sky

The Trees stand still

The Rabbit stops in it's tracks

The stars dance to the Wolfs song

The song shakes the mountians

Rustles the praire grass

And rolls through hills.

Then the night sky starts to gleam,

As the Sun the sun rises

From it's slumber

The wolf leaves his stand

Waiting for the next full Moon.

Slipping Through Lifes Fingers

I wrote this poem called, "Slipping Through Lifes Fingers" in dedication to the people who have felt that Life has given up on them.

I feel it's grasp choking me

Welcome to My World, my blog my space. You will see alot of my work here, such as my art, wrtitng and anythig I feel that strikes my intrest. But first I will want to tell you a little about myself.

Hello, my name is Savannah. I have a dream of becoming a professional writer and maybe someday a illustrator of my own books or maybe a known illustrator of other famous novels. I have also have had dream of owning my own veterainary clinic, that takes aboanded animals, nurses them and puts them up for adoption. Also to nurse any other animals that are in need of them. But besides my dreams I write often but even then I don't step far out of the dream world. I write much about fanatsy, like people who don't know who they are and then find out that they do have a place in the world and go through a mafical journey. I have such stories that I titled, "ShapeShifter" "Trapped" and a "A Friend of a Thousand Years", but these are only a few. I also read much of the time, and most of the books I reas are fantasy. Like Narnia, Harry Potter and other books that I dind hidden on library shevles.
